Nia 5 Stages: An Introduction with Robyn Maltz

Join me in a Nia 5 Stages introduction workshop. The focus of the class will be on the head and neck.

The head and neck work together as one unit. Movement of the head releases tension, stimulates breathing and strengthens the muscles along the core of the body. The placement of the head effects the alignment of the whole spine. The head is the channel to your creative, intuitive and thinking self.

In this class you will increase your awareness of your head and neck. If the winter has given you neck stiffness, blocked sinus or headaches, this class will offer you an opportunity to self heal. You will leave with the tools to continue this healing on your own. It all it takes is 5 minutes a day!

  • Date: Saturday, March 6

  • Time: 11:30pm - 1:00 pm

  • Fee: $25 - Pre-register at robynmaltz@rcn.com or at any of the Nia classes.
